Digital Career Training Programmes

In an attempt to help with economic recovery after Covid-19 pandemic, Aksantys extended its activities by releasing new training programmes fostering the acquisition of digital competences and digital entrepreneurship skills for businesses. The coronavirus pandemic had accelerated digitalisation and innovation within many companies, regardless of size and location. The business models of all companies had to be changed almost instantly and radically. The European Business Review identifies five areas where the business changes are inevitable. The rise in flexible working and the remote working will remain the norm in many industries, increase in the need to foster global presence through e-commerce will become a necessity to be existent on the market. Work-based learning is defined as a learning that occurs, when people do their real tasks at the workplace. Much of this work is not systematic, and it is not organized in any formal way. It often occurs randomly, and it might affect only selected groups of employees. It is also very often mixed with classroom-based learning provided by many large companies during the working hours, or the virtual practices and simulations provided by schools and colleges. Nevertheless, these alternatives do not provide as many benefits for companies and individuals as a real well-defined work-based learning.
